Welcome to all newbies and potential Sinn-ers.

Enough have been said of the U1. It's a great watch at a fantastic price. Really value for money. Like most of mentioned, it's very durable for daily use where it can take knocks and yet not show any visible damage. But hor, don't drop it. The case CAN GET DAMAGE OR DENT SERVERLY!!! Its like any wath in that sense.
Wanted to share this with all so as not to be misled that it's indestructible.

      Desired horologes ...

      - GMT II
      - GMT IIc TT

      - Master Eight Days (1608420)
      - U1

An exquisite timepiece, brings timeless memories and precious moments...

had the same experience as you. At first find the watch too big and chulky at the AD, but once you had it sized and wear it for a day you will find the watch sit very nicely and firmly on your wrist. Got myself a pre-owned, 2 weeks old at $1800. Buy

                            That's Odd hmzz..

That's rather odd. I had my U1 for quite awhile, went up to the ice caps with it, smashed it against a door lock. Not a scratch and never stopped.

Sorry to hear that, but it does seem like a one-off case.
hope you can let us know what happened and we can learn from it....
