I second this, though mine is aquatimer 2000 with bracelet. This IWC ingenieur is on my wish list.

I personally prefer the IWC leather straps model compared to the metal chains ones. Especially the Blue IWC Portuguese Chronograph Model IW371417.

I always recommend Portuguese, either Portuguese Automatic with 7 days power reserve or Portuguese Chrono. Both are iconic IWC models IMO. Can use for dress watch or casual wear.

Most of IWC's models with leather strap are cool except for the watches with metal links. Looks feminine to me.

U are referring to the portofino series with the milanese mesh bracelet? i kind of like those especially, very 50s chic.

You're buying watches to enjoy it urself and not to follow the trend.

Pls do a search in the forum sale garage to check on the pricing and do some homework and u will have answers to both ur question
