  • IWC Pilot Chrono - 3717 or new 3777

    Hi folks,
Updating my watch collection and realize there's a new pilot chrono 3777 which is 1mm bigger in size.

I have the 3717 as my travel watch.

Question is, should I sell it to replace with the 3777, which although only 1mm bigger, looks much bigger due to the skinnier bezel.

    Thoughts appreciated.

    Cheers.

Personally, I'll still choose the 3717 over the 3777. I prefer the dial design of the older version, and definitely, its size.

      Agree with Oceanklassik.

But then the 3717 has one of the most copied look.

I wouldn't mind the 3777 too if the price of a preowned eventually comes down to close to the level of 3717.

I prefer the 3777 over the 3717 which I feel looks a bit more macho with the 1mm upsize. Thats why I got the 3777. Just my opinion.

the 3777 date shows 3 continuous dates... looks more similar to a dial in the airport... I personally like this more

You better stick with your 3717 as its not available new on any AD now, its discontinued already so its a matter of time this classic IWC piece will go up in price in the second hand market imo.
