IMHO, it's one watch that I'll be proud to wear now if my dad had one to hand me down. The watch looks pretty much the same since 50 years ago and the current generation didn't change much except for the ceramic bezel.

I agree. The pelagos can be had for around 5k. It is a good watch yo have. Itz less bling but more stealth wealth. And the legibility is among the best because it is uncluttered.
