  • JLC Master Compressor ExtremeWorldChrono EWC

Recently, I have been going around hunting for this watch. However, after viewing 2 pcs, 1pc @ the JLC boutique and 1pc @ AD, had discovered the chronograph doesn't reset exactly @ the 12 O'Clock Marker. Both watches show 1sec after. Is this normal? Couldn't believe and observed other JLC chronos (another 2 pcs the Master Compressor Chrono), to my disbelief, same occurrence.

Can any gurus please advise. Or should I hunt for another watch?

        Yeah you are right
1 sec before the 12 and 30 marker. That is normal.
        cheers!

i think this is typical of JLC chrono watches... I dun have this model, but I experienced the same thing.

if I understand the issue raised in this thread correctly...
Turn on the chrono... pay attention when the second hand is moving from 57-58-59-60

the other hand measuring the no. of minutes since the chrono has elasped will jumped to the next minute before the hand cross 60...

making sense or more confusing? just run your chrono and observe... the minute hand will jump forward around 59-60 seconds... people normally expect the minute hand only jump fwd after 60 seconds

i checked with Richemont service centre before... they said it is normal... expected...

Hi i observed my EWC chrono many times but i don't see the "discrepancy" in the timing...

The min hand turns simultaneously to 1, upon the seconds hand hitting 60 secs. In fact its perfectly synchronised in terms of the movement of both hands from 59 to 60 sec, and 0 to 1 min.

I can take a video but not sure how to post it...
