  • If u ever need to bring an Omega to the service centre

Anyone been to the omega service centre at wheelock? Brought an old watch there to adjust bracelet length few weeks ago.

Waiting time close to an hour. But the biggest turn off is that there are quite a number of school children/teenagers with their swatches are also in the queue.

I have no issues with swatch and I wore a few of them during my school days. But I don't have the luxury of time unlike those students whose lessons end mid-day. And where is the exclusivity for such a "premium" brand - avg $5k/watch.

Fedback to the staff at Omega boutique the other day. He said "our parent company carries a number of brands, we seek customers' understanding on this matter".

I'm really reconsidering to buy my 2nd omega now.

Just go to Omega boutique to adjust your bracelet. You don't need a watch tech to get that done. Maybe a AD can also help you with this. Problem is Swatch group carries a lot other brands hence you will have this problem at the service centre.

But my expereince with some other watch service centre carrying only 1 brand will also let you wait a hour or so.... It is not every other day you go to the service centre so don't let this turn you off and avoid lunch times....

Thanks for the advice, i'm just ventilating a bit only : )

I did go to the ion boutique first but because the watch is a very old model, the sales staff had no experience with it and therefore directed me to the service centre.

I brought my SMP to them for bracelet extension, The watch comes back with lots of scratches at the side of the breacelet which was chrome. Even thought its free (under warranty) but those idiot's workmanship are really quesntionable.
No wonder I saw quite a number of post saying complaining about their lousy workmanship. Now I know.

the standard was really sucks and worst i hav faced.
my legend diver was 'disfigure' after i sent it in for a free servicing, it came back with scratches here and there and esp on the back casing part, its as though they used a screw driver to pile open the case back and service it.. now i wonder where i can service my omega when the time comes..

I have a freelancer who helped me with the polishing and full servicing. Anyone interested can pm me.

It's too expensive and the waiting time is too long.
