  • HELP NEEDED: Stamps on omega bracelet

    Hi bros,

I met a problem here. I got a omega moonwatch with steel bracelet from a fellow sg-roc member. The model number on the clasp is 1499/842. However the bracelet does not have three model numbers engraved on the backside of end links, simply blank. I checked online and the photo of omega watch on the official website do have numbers engraved, so i am quite confused here. Could anyone help out?

Same problem as listed in a post in WUS. Someone mentioned no number stamps may mean a fake unless it is an old one.

    No one reply my post.

I did a search on WUS and found there are four different conditions:
    1) three digits are stamped on the corner of backside of end link, geniue
    2) three digits are laser engraved on in the center of backside of end link, which are shallower than stamped ones, geniue
    3) with nothing but omega official reply confirms some new bracelets don't have numbers on end link but laser engraved on the back of clasp, so geniue
    4) some fellow member also said some old bracelet models don't have numbers on end link but laser engraved on the back of clasp, however, this saying has no official evidence
