Co-axial 2500 is replaced by 8500. Do you foresee it will be collectable in future ?

I have a Omega Planet Ocean 42mm classic dial on 2500 caliber bought 4 years ago. It is also the discontinued model. Been wearing it almost daily. Keeps very good time and no need servicing for about 8 to 10 yrs when I considered buying it. I also thought paying a substantial premium for 8500 caliber is not what I wanted . Not too sure about collectable or not but 2500 caliber is good enough for me. .

      I have a Omega SMP300M 2200.800 Co-Axial Calibre 2500, loses 1-2 seconds a day after 2 years.

There are mass produced. My view is that it is unlikely.
