I think both brands have their own sporty and elegant models? Personally, I do not feel Omega to be a 'more sporty' (or more 'youthful') brand over Rolex. Both have quite similar 'identity'. Just my views

Wholeheartedly agree. If you are concerned about value preservation, then without a doubt Rolex watches retain their much better. A corollary to this is the fact that Rolex watches are more liquid than Omega watches (not including any special Ltd Edn watches). As an owner of both, I feel each model occupy slightly different segments. But admittedly 1 brand is more aspirational than the other. I'll leave it to you to decide which is which

It's really depending on personal preference, as good as asking BMW or Benz?

If you guys had a chance to own only 1 Omega in your life, which model will it be and why?

Cos I like Omega, but likely to move on to Rolex when am older.

    I appreciate your replies.
I had a vintage Constellation that I picked up 20 years ago in Shanghai. Unfortunately I decided to sell it a year later - at the same price. Would love to have one. Always liked it.

I now have a PO Good Planet but it is not finding any wrist time. So, 'retro' is probably the thing for me.

I am owning vintage Omega, vintage Rolex and modern Rolex. My personal feeling is Omega is good in the old days....nothing attracts my attention after the speedmaster. My favorite is the Rolex vintage, at 1st i am very resistive to Rolex after 2010 which got big lugs and looked bulky....but after a while the new Rolex seemed to be looking good.....maybe the design of Rolex is meant to be long lasting.... My choice will be Vintage Rolex >Rolex > Vintage Omega.....
