  • Aiming for a PAM but can't decide on which one.. 441 or 384

    Hi Guys,

Aiming to get my first PAM (I'm a noob) and can't make up my mind on which 1 to get.

    What I like:
Liked how both have the matt black look which looks sleek and low profile as I'm aiming to use it as my daily beater watch. I don't really like the shiny polished cases on some of the models.

My decision is based solely on both watches' appearance. I know nuts about the various movements..

I would really appreciate your views to help me make the correct decision. Wrist shots are also appreciated.

how abt 292? cheapest ceramic model

441 hav 2nd hour hand, good if u travel alot & auto movement, no winding needed
384 hav 8day power reserve, no need to wind as often as 292
292 cheapest of e lot but have to wind once every 2days

Matt black for daily beater? Not advisbale unless you can "tolerate" hairlines and scratches....they are obvious on a black casing.

ceramic r suppose to be scratch resistance
i have full ceramic watch (not panerai) as daily beater & currently no scratches

I agree. ceramic is scratch resistence. BTW I will not buy PAM 292 because it does not have panerai In house movement.

If I were you, I will get the 384.

441 is too thick because of the P9000 movement.

                  i won't consider the 292.

If I'm getting a ceramic Pam, it will either be the 335 or 438 tuttonero

Depends on whether you prefer radiomir or luminor....Personally I think laminor is more distinct and classic for panerai. I do have a 441 and it's pretty distinct. People do notice it easily...

I'm leaning more towards 441...... need to look for sellers.. Is the 441 still sold by ADs?

441 used to be special. Unique and not very common.
Just recently it started flooding the marketing.
Even if you can't find it in AD, you can easily find it on this forum's marketplace.
