Yeah, auto's rotor needs more space thus the thickness. 47mm would then introduce another problem being too big circumference wise. We are hard to please. Excuse to eat more so I can wear a 47mm PAM127

thats why OP should come up with a 47mm 1950s version. Balance out the thickness

Ha, exactly my thoughts! 312 is way too thick.

312 has clean look and 1950 casing. IMO, they look good especially from top view but after a while wearing 312, most feel they are simply too thick and sit very high up for Asian wrists. Seen a couple of 312 on skinny wrists and look weird with a watch nearly the same thickness as their wrists

you are right, it seems that there are many people trying to sell the 312 now. if you're in the market for a 312 now seems to be the best time to buy. so many sellers including myself ha ha ha.

however i think the value will hold quite well, especially when they keep increasing the prices.

A plain PAM like the 111,112 with a rubber strap is very cool and can pass off as a sporty watch.

I would love to own a PAM too, but currently they are all off my budget.

IMO, PAM should be plain. That's what makes them unique.
