Pam127/217 as it was discon, most current owners paid high premiums buying from preown market so doubt they are willing to sell at great loss........but for sure since i've never been a fan of 127/217/232/249, 2011 models seems much more appealing to me and definitely am tempting to get one.

    My views.....
If the majority new and current potential buyers thinks the new 2011 Pams 372/375 looks better (i think so) then it will be the old 1950's killers on conditions it has to be cheaper than current prices of PAm127/217.
If the Pams 372/375 cost more than sgd$20k then for sure the old 1950's will stay put its current values.

As for Pam249/232... the current market prices it is not beyond sky-rocket yet, so it will still hold on for the time being.

But after seeing the new pams 2011, i've come to a conclusion myself.... will never ever pay high premiums for Panerais again. You never knows what stunning models they might come up with in the years to come outshining all previous limited, special editions ...

Assuming, of course, that richemont doesn't change its mind on the 372 and limit the numbers somehow. Wouldn't be the first time..

Everyone is gunning for that 372, its friggin awesome!!!! I'm thankful I haven't splurged away my bonus on any watches yet, since p.com whispers are that it may hit around USD10k despite not being an SE...

On a sidenote - does anyone know how soon after SIHH will the new models hit stores?

Ed: I also noticed a certain Pam 371 on the official website that seems to have been mostly overlooked by the p.com discussion radar... but its also absolutely gorgeous!! Blue dialled 1950 sub!
