My 312 also gt this issue. After e watch stopped, rewind 20 to 30 turns, e watch wont move until I gif e watch a light shake.

Is this consider a prob? I never bother it as long my watch move in e end. So do I need to send my watch in to richmont for check too?

Not mine. My p.9000 is good and accurate (for a 6 month old watch), and I've tested the 72 hours power reserve on more than 1 occassion and it never short-change me. In fact, on average it held power for almost 80 hours.

I own a 305N too and after a week of non-usage, I will shake it about 10 times (1 good shake will rotate the plate 5-6 times) first before setting the time and date. Never felt the need to manually wind the watch.

how long do you recommend the watch to be shaked for??? 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute or 5 minutes?

    Yo brother mmax,

I do agree with brother leeye, from what u have shared in your initial mail, it pretty abnormal to me.....better bring it down to richemont for a full body check up.

After days of leaving the watch untouched, it stops working. Normally, i would be able to kick start this movement with 20-25 maunaul winds as I was taught for my pam312L. Some how with the 305, the second hands will not move after 25 winds. And only after a gentle shake of the watch will I be able to "kick start" the second hands or I'll have to unlock the lever and pull and push in the crown again before being able to get the second hands to move.

Another problem is after winding and setting the time, upon closing the crown and bridge, the watch stops working (and this is after a good 20-25windings). I'll have to go back to the first method to try to get the second hands moving before setting time again.

I've sent it back to richmont a few times already only to have them tell me the watch is working fine. But how to reconcile the difference as my 312 only needs 20 winds to start the manual wind and set time. This has caused great distress seeing how both P9000s behave differently. Is this normal for the 305 users?
the P9000 series automatic movement have a power reserve of 3 days. looks like the movement is "sticking" a little. after 20-25 winds the second hand should start turning.

is the movement keeping accurrate time? instead of Richemont, try bringing your watch to the Panerai service counter at ION Boutique where their technician can better diagnose your concern.

I think the 305 just relies on then flip lever so it doesn't use the screw down crown.

Haha I reckon you might have confused him even more. Now he might've thought he got a fake cos now screw down crown. Hahaha
