Patek 5980 RG

Dear bros and sis,

Recently have been looking at Patek and still saving up. But the 5980 RG caught my eye. I usually see ppl talking about 5712, 5711, etc.

What are the differences? I guess its more of better resale value as the 5711 or 5712 are more popular??

5980 RG is very nice! Good choice.

The main diff is 5980 is a chrono,5711 is date only , 5712, is date, power reserve and moonphase.
5711 and 5712 are more popular cos of the price. your 5980R is more then double the price of a 5711. But having said that 5980 is also in good demand, a common grey dealer piece with the 5960.
And if comparing another Patek model against the 5980, it would be the annual calendar chrono 5960.
