  • Solo travel winders orientation

I discovered that on single winders esp. travel winders, the orientation of the winder is important when in use.

It seems best efficiency is obtained by placing the winder with the watch dial facing towards you, as opposed to standing up straight for cylindrical shaped travel winders.

I believe it has something to do with the gravitational pull and inertia of the watch's rotor when the watch dial faces you.

    Any similar experiences?
