@MrBezel: I am sorry to hear that. Totally uncaring if it happens at the service centre. Even my Seiko get treated with TLC at Thong Sia, it should be an unspoken standard at a Swiss watch service ctr.

Did my verification last week. Similar procedure to what kohym mentioned, except that watch came back with scratches on three different parts of the bracelet. Too bad only saw it when I got home.

Just to share my latest experience at RSC doing verification:
-10am watch sent in for verification
-staff will write down your name, address and tel no.
-3pm receive a call from RSC that watch is ready
-went to collect at 6pm. Take note last collection time is 645pm. Collection (for watch for verificatn) is at NOT the left hand door that says "Collections"
-staff returns the watch and say "this watch is correct"
-staff will then print a nice A4 invoice for the service. total $107.
-staff will wrap the watch in Rolex polishing cloth and put the watch in green leather Rolex pouch.
So for $107, you get a nicely printed invoice, polishing cloth and leather pouch.
I was told if you send in watch during lunch, it may not be ready same day (depending on work load). so for same day collection, try to send in between 10-11am. RSC opens 10am-7pm fyi.
Today's staff attitude not bad.
But I learn my lesson the "paiseh" way as I did not know cannot do transaction inside lol. End up the staff politely ask us to do it outside...lol
So will I go do verification at RSC again?
Probably yes, if I have the time to go morning to send in watch and end day to pick up again. But if I need to deal fast, probably Watch-concept, Top Hour (sometimes very crowded) or JW (most times crowded) will be good as well. If I plan to keep that Rolex for good, maybe for peace of mind, I may still LL got to go back RSC.

Got a noob question. For an example if I service my watch at Top hour 5 yrs back. I intend to bring it to RSC for overhaul. Will RSC accept to service it?

newbie here...
what is included in the ~$780 or $1k+ servicing? and this a general across the board servicing fees?
for a car 10K, 40K.... service includes different items, can this concept apply to rolex (or rather general lux watch) servicing or just standard until a certain milage?
