maybe off-topic a bit..but does anyone know what do we mean when the watch has a flyback function, esp applicable those on chronograph mechanical watches?

Pardon my ignorance...all these while I thought it must be some fantastic function...ok, maybe technically it is.

But stopping & resetting vs just resetting = ...err...half a second difference?
