Sports models bracelets

Let me confirm something please
Been doing a lot of searching and saw a pic of a GMT II TT that has a jubilee bracelet?
Is that right or should it be the sports bracelet instead?
Or are there exceptions to be made for older series ?

yup..... jubilee was available for 1671* gmt 2....and earlier

Yes there is such thing. Only for the some of the older batch of GMT II

My prev company colleague had one.. a really old one..
Looks a bit especially when the bracelet stretch!
Sports model on a jubilee bracelet is a definite no-no for me..
But that's just me lah hor..
Other bros who think otherwise pls dun feel offended

True...that I agree...jubilee on sports is..weird

dressy! I think it is ok, gives a watch a soft spot , but i think in regards to stretch, the solid links should fix the problem

But...well the sad part is...at that time no solid links.

iirc the new link can fit, since width same that would make the watch even more classier, with the hidden clasp

on the other hand I suppose you could always swap out the gold in the classic jubilee and replace with gold links milled to the exact dimensions, of the hollow link, then you can enjoy jubilee with solid links and the stylish clasp

Swap it out? not something a normal person can do man...

indeed... take alot of time and dedication , but hor, I tell you, DIY you are always happy at the results, and if you are not, you take it as a learning curve.

DIY is great....but only if u can DIY correctly and nicely

sometimes not great also must do, but in this case I suppose not everyone has the guts to take out a 3K bracelet apart and muck around with it. Some dont even have the guts to take out the bracelet end links just like that time my toilet leaking water... kenna drip drop until , spend 3hr to find the source of leak and fix. Not a good job, but one that needed to be done. As for finding tradesperson to do, not possible because all on holidays

NOt sure about TT.

prefix Y came with jubilee, SD bracelet also able to fit GMT II
