Advisory : Buying Safe & Consideration

in oz, we have those safe shops, where there is lierally heaps of safe to choose from. never seen before in sg, so not sure.

i also know a manufactuer of safes, for those interested in importing their own safe

actually most of the safes sold is fireproof with deterrant..not really those powerful burgler prevention safes..

but at least 100kg safe is much more difficult to carry away mah..

weight not only the important thing on a safe, the hinges, the wall thickness, the design, the combo lock design, etc etc. combined they play a role in the safe's reliability

allow me to say something..
i personally bought the ntuc safe,$69.90.
titan brand-small size-cheapo one..to me atleast have something to lock in.my best security i can give to my watch.
rather then i left my watch open in the drawer/shelf,easy access to the thief/anyone..

i drill the safe to secure inside my wardrode,

in my mind at least it will delay the thief some timing,rather then they come in,take and go..
and when i go out,i need not to worry my watch got keep properly or not
eg:if someone coming to my house visit..(scare they steal ?or maybe they see see then mishandle the watch.?u know sometime kids likes to roam around..)

if the thief reallly want yr items,they will think alot of way..buy how big-safe also no use.

but if you put a 75-100kg safe..those thief can carry away meh? safes that are 75kg are much heavier than their actual weight..

if you got a few daytonas..iris recognition definately worth it..

if a few daytona, i would consider locking up my front doors with decent gates, not the standard that comes with the apartment/property

because the best security system is as good as the weakest link. the saying applies to everything else.

its ok to have small safe, at least you can throw inside, cover with come clothing and out of sight (hopefully!!).

i am thinking of putting a filing cabinet in my wardrobe, and put lock on it. since my bedroom have lock, and also can consider those so called fingerprint lock snce it is abit troublesome to have keys for every door

flying arrows no one will do, BUT you can design yourself

No la...it's like the hotel kind. Safe is there...but the back of the safe is mounted to the wall

but if the safe is light..people can also pull it away from the wall and bring back..
