Thanks Bro watchpassionist...for seiko mm300 i really dun dare to take the risk...becoz all inhouse parts...hahaha.....no aftermarket parts....becoz the movement is 8L35 which is a base GS movement...lol

I agree with bro watchpassionist's view that as mere forum members (i.e. neither administrator nor moderator) it is perfectly fine for us to sing and praise certain sellers or service providers repeatedly if we truely and strongly feel that they are very good.

I won't be too bothered if someone says I am bias because I promote the service of a very good vendor based on my own good experience. Of course if I get questioned if I am affiliated to those vendors as a result of that, I would clarify and not get offended.

i always encourage friends,clients,members have any Pam inhse including JLC,Minerva etc movts to go back to Richemont for servicing. 1st thing first they have the right tools and equipment for your watch. 2nd of all resale value, like what bro Ender mentioned.

No worries bro.... Jw ever fix my AP, zeniths and other top brands so JLC or minerva is not a problem for him at all. Maybe pam models like 233, 270, 311 from Richemont in house then parts might be the problem. Else nothing is too difficult for him.

You are rite abt the turnaround time, but isn't most servicing centres take a longer time to deliver your watch. They are not like Rolek service centre, where it is only Rolek so thats why turnaround time is so much shorter.They have enuf techs,spare parts (i know RSC don't store vintage parts,they have to order frm HQ ) so servicing lead time is shorter.

Watch that got to go back to Switzerland for service would take months,as long as 6 mths. If you ask me why, i say cos they don't just ship your watch.They would consolidate them(watches) than ship em at one go. Giva a call to JW have a chat with John, ask him about your 190..personally i nvr have send in any inhse Pam to JW for servicing.

Bro, i never tried JW but will take your recommendation and bro feilong advice that he can service pam and have Mr Wang to take a look at my pam190 in a couple of days time. Another shop i have heard positive feedbacks is Top Hour in Lucky Plaza. Also never try their service before though.

Actually, if you ask me, I would say you/the moderator/administrator should all be treated the same and be allowed to express your opinions in term of compliments or feedbacks on the vendors/service providers. To me the consideration for you guys to stay neutral is on the commercial aspects...or why else are you bothered? I don't think the forum will get a bad reputation because the moderator/administrator always give feedbacks based on their experience/true facts to keep the members informed. However I do feel that your recommendations/feedbacks should be based on your own experience and not hear-say from other people.
