Hi guys, newbie here need some advice, spot a new Sub model M14060 at a local AD with new chapter ring but with pin hole. I thought the new sub does not came with pin hole, but it has the new chapter ring. Find it confusing, can anyone advice. Thanks
The 14060 or later known as 14060M seems don't hold its value well in pre-own market. 14060 averages $4200++
Don't see any newer 14060M for sale though (i.e. COSCO certified with more lines of text at the bottom) This I think is not much buyer buys this model and even those who do buy are collectros and don't sell one....

Lets learn from the past. IF they dont sell well now, 10 - 15 yrs from now, this 14060 might be the orange hand of the future.

My understanding is that the M is to distinguish the change from the Cal 3000movement to the Cal 3130 (?), full balance bridge, bigger balance wheel etc.
For me, I see the 14060/14060m as 3 main categories for consideration.
14060 - Tritium dial
14060M - no COSC cert.
14060M -with COSC cert.
The above's my limited understanding of that model. It's probably wrong somewhere and so better to check with some of the rolex gurus here.

Thats correct! The only difference is the movement and now in the recent models (with the extra text on the dial), the movement is COSC certified.
If you're after ND because you think its cheaper ... you can get older tritium-dial Sub 16610 with date (&COSC cert) for as little as $4.6k ... that's only a bit more.
