  • Historical price rise / increase over the years.. ?

    Heh Rolexers,

Just wondering.... what historical price rise's are known on Rolex Watches ?

Lets use the classic SUB ( or others??? ) for example..... I hear back in mid 70's they were less than $1500 > 2012 = $11000 ? ( I'm not certain on the price ).

Did you buy one New from an AD years ago and what did you pay.... looking at old history, not the Sub you bought last year ?

My friend bought a sub in 1977 at $700.

At that that time, red sub and normal sub is same price.

He choose the normal sub cause he find the red wording very ugly.

Another friend bought 16610 in 1996 for $3,200.
