As there is warrently , the lady took it in for checking and says everything is fine.
From my understanding if there is any fake parts they would not even take it in for checking.
Save some money , if I am not wrong it should be 70 bucks at that time.
This is quite true. And my fren told me that those technicians inside can "determine" if your watch is authentic or not by the weight, movement and winding of your crown. So if your rolex can be "taken in" for checking, imho, it should be quite safe.

lets say you know someone who works at rolex or even a manager, i can assure you that there are more than 10 people here who knows more about rolex than them. go try and test some rolex staff and try to find out if they have the knowledge but before that can happen you should have done your research as well, which you just got yourself free authentication also.

    I think she is " right ".

Is the price that you paid for is very much lower than others are selling ??

But if, what happen is not authentic or is a stolen good ??

What are you gonna do ?? Or, what are you gonna do to the seller ??

    Things had happen happened.

Why open a new watch that you like, leave it "as it is".

Do it next time when servicing. Enjoy it first.

    Can show me ??

All boils down to whether you trust the seller/Shop and also the replica nowadays are becoming better. so Having it check out is better than not doing it is the basic advice.
Notwithstanding, there are other places that can do authentication fairly quickly for the same price or less...

If a person is spending say $10k for a Rolex, it is worthwhile paying $107 to satisfy oneself that what you paid for is the real thing.

While it is rather easy to check the watch exterior to ascertain whether it is a fake, unless you are trained in watch repair, it would be rather difficult for a person to check the watch movement. As all of you are aware, there are so many good imitation Rolex watches around and as such many movements such as the ETA and Unitas have been developed to complement the imitation watches. These movements would fit right into an original casing without modification. So, go figure that out.

The only issue with watch authentication is that it takes too long - about half a day.

The seller may not have opened it. Trust is an overused word.

Well if you handle enough Rolex and you trust the seller ... skip the authentication.
