Pawn shops versus Pre-owned shop

Believe that Some PS have good collection of Pre Owned Rolexes too.
Who will you get it from and Why? Pros and cons.
Anyone try before and are their collection cheaper comparing to POS dealer?

Any where can find a PS with good collection?

Yeah Man, Good questions!
to my 2cts knowledge. Lemon laws covers retailers providing goods and services.
Therefore, I believe it covered.

Just like used car dealers...under the lemon law too..

Returning back to the basic question, I prefer preowned watch shops over pawn shops. It's a case better range of goods/ services as preowned shops carry parallel imports ,provide servicing, sell straps and accessories whereas a pawn shop does not.

and if u happen to walk pass a PS and saw a nice watch, looks great price below market price..will u consider?

The PS is not an expert for the watch. So the biggest risk is that you are getting something that is not original regardless of the price. Personally, I will not get it from the PS or even a pre-owned shop unless the watch can be authenticated.

I think it boils down to price whether u get it from a ps or pre-own shop . Ps should be able to guarantee authenticity and might have more margin to play with since they would have made a margin from the loans rather than selling watches

For me i get from preown shop for my both rolex so far so good

buying in singapore whether Pawn shop or pre own watch shop are practically safe.They do not want to tarnish their reputation when dealing with customer.They are here for a profits and buy it when you feel safe and satisfy with their services.Alternatively you can always send in for verification to double confirmed it's genuine .

They take in below halfprice and sell above halfprice
