Hmmm, usually i will agree with them but in such a manner that they will think i am being modest and not want to say it is real. When u do that i think, they will believe it is real... reverse rolex-ology lah...

usually i reply.

if you believe it is fake then it is. if it is real then it is real.

generally, it seems that if one can afford a real rolex, even if you tell them it is not, they say dun bluff. however, if one is perceived as cannot afford a real rolex, even if you tell them it is real, they say fake one.

My workplace area got a lot of foreign workers. I'm not worry for my watch. I'm more worry about my bicycle. Kena stolen before but luckily recovered. Bicycle for me to commute within workplace area only. I don't cycle home. Very far leh .

Give me I normally tell them that mine is a fake bought from Bangkok..
There's a lot of foreign workers at my workplace and i go back very late at night.. So better they think it's fake.. Only a handful of my trusted colleagues know the real value.. Hee hee..

When someone asked me if my watch is a fake i acted surprised and asked the person back how he or she knew. I can see their reaction whether they are sincere with the question or just like to act smart.
The latter one would start out what went wrong with my watch. I then said thanks for pointing it out. I bought it from AD and since i been conned please help me report to the authority and explain to them.

i ask them to place a bet.... say $200... plus the authentication $75.... if fake.. i lose him the $... if real.. he need to gimme $275... usually tat'll shut them up.. lol
