purchase of original rolex dials

hi fellow rolex enthusiaists,
heard from a friend yesterday that original rolex dials(non aftermarket) may be purchased and installed over at Chinatown.anyone has any info on this?do they have like a wide range?like rarer coloured dials with diamonds and so on..thanks again and happy Monday.

Rolex has one of the tightest controls for spare parts.
They keep the old parts when they replace it with new ones.
Once in a while, you may hear of a service centre giving the old face or bezel back but its rare.

I suspect what happens is that there are people who trade in their original dials to aftermarket ones..
