Rolex at Ion today advised that price increase between 3-5% depending on model.

The reason for not being able to sell is that they also want to capitalize on price increase to create more demand. Next week supply should be back on line but at higher prices.

One customer wanted to buy a gold datejust with diamonds for his wife but was advised openly by the sales person, "There are no more stocks at the old price even if you want to buy. We will have to sell at the new price as this is the price we will be paying Rolex."
