Well when one day you stop admirering Rolex and admirer those mid to low range watches then maybe they will feel the pinch. Thats why for me I'm still a Seiko and Ball guy.

When will people say, enough is enough and stop buying. Sure they will be the super-rich, but at some point it will hit a ceiling for the majority of buyers, who will go more up-market or just not buy new.

Saw some second hand dealers updated their prices today as well ...

i was at THG Orchard Central today, the SA says that there is no price increase to the consumer, but Rolex has increase their cost meaning lesser discount. Dickson at Centrepoint also mention that the last increase was in July.

As an indication, explorer 1 $8260, 172847 $9250.
Are the prices before or after increment?

Economy crisis, there will be people in need of $$ and put their collections on fire sale ... So far that's my observation. Save more $ to hoot loh...

You all need to look in the mirror, slap your face and wake up. Price increases will happen, but doesn't mean you have to keep buying. Its a called a reality check.
