  • Feng Shui at Rolex in Geneva?

    Hi folks

I was in Geneva last week. Tram no.15 runs from the plaza in front of the United Nations, pass the stop to the Patek Philippe museum, and on another 2 stops to Rolex of Geneva.

Wasn't planning to visit Rolex ... but I missed the stop for Patek and before I knew it, I had crossed another river and saw the building looming in the distance... the one that we are all familiar with, from the booklets of the 1970s... re-cladded in (green) glass and now featured on my recent booklets.

Taking a walk up to the front of the building, I noticed that there was a sculpture in a pool of water on the left side of the front entrance ... which featured water running over a rock which was embedded with a stone of Amethyst crystal.

I'm no feng shui expert (so I thought I would see if anyone here knows) ... but these elements all suggest feng shui?

Does a Swiss company like Rolex practice feng shui?
Hmm... What does this sculpture and its placement mean?

    Some photos are attached.

BTW - for the curious, Rolex is really situated in a suburb. To the right (out of photos) is a used-car lot ... and in front of Rolex HQ is a parking lot and a gymnasium! And in real life, the building isn't really very big at all. I think the assembly facilities are behind the main building.

    ... anyone can comment?

... I seem to have some problems linking to the images. Anyway, if you right-click on the icon and open image in new tab, you can see them.

BTW - on the way back to Zurich, my train passed through Bienne. I think that's where the watch parts are mostly made (they are assembled in Geneva) ... because there were at least 5-6 buildings in Bienne with big Rolex logos above them on the skyline. Impressive!

    Should be Rolex of Bienne...hahaha.
