  • How you keep your watches ?

For me, I have a spare dry cabinet which I used to keep my camera equipments, lately change to a bigger one hence this one I use to store my watches.
I put the whole watch box into cabinet and set the humidity at ~ 40% (which is a bit higher humidity than my lenses setting at 35%).

Any bro here have other ways to share and advice?

    Cheers

Bro, 35% is too dry for your cameras/lenses. The recommendation is usually 50-60% ... so about 40-50% is ok. Too dry and your leatherette will start to shrink etc .

As for watches... 40+% should be ok.

Today I hear a well known watch collector chucks his pieces around his house... so they all look used. He even treats his $50,000 Patek in this fashion. His reasoning? If there is a burgular and everything looks disregarded ... burglers think it is a fake!

At first I put all in the watch box...

Yesterday after wearing my B&R, I left it on my computer table...
Day before that Corum is still in the kitchen...
I accidentally left the Glycine in bathroom and it was still there until 5 mins ago.
          Pam is on my wrist...
Tag is always in the box...
          Issey accompanying my Tag....
Cartier... I left it in my jacket after that night's wedding dinner.
Hmm... Another Glycine beside my bed after trying to take the lume shots..

After I see this thread, I put them all back into the box.
