Good info...
If I may add a bit more...
Some info regarding the numbers at the back of your rolex green box....
Example of an Oysterquartz Datejust circa 1983 correct box base on the box reference numbers...
Here are a chart of the rolex boxes reference numbers....

The source - http://www.google.com/translate?hl=e...3552%26st%3D30
Though there's a reason for Rolex to print the numbers on the back of their boxes, to match with a particular model, some argue that its ok not to get the correct box as the watches and boxes were shipped separately and ADs usually just grab any boxes available in their stores as soon as a purchased was made.
So far, most of my Rolexes have the correct boxes...Last edited by Ryuden; 24-07-14, 11:07 AM.
