me too was thinking to jump on the bandwagon to get a hulk. Good taste.

But thinking that i just got a normal sub just few months back. am holding on my horses.

There are actually no fluctuations in price now, just rumour of prices will go up. So on the part of stablising the prices, it is actually stablise now and will be more so when they increase the prices to reflect the currency exchange.

It's really interesting to learn that how these short term factors can help one to stop procrastination and accelerate up his/her mind to make a purchase.. I think these news help the resale of used watches to move slightly faster...

I also gotten my 1st Rollie, a Black GMT 2C back in Jun'14, and a Sinn 358 in Nov'14, so hold myself back & not be too hasty to commit money for another Rollie 😅

You are not wrong. Those sitting on the fence will definitely drop to the side of purchase. Those who had no interest at all would still be unmoved by the news/rumours. And those who can really afford are not bothered by the increase at all cos it cannot even make a dent on them.

Checked random stores of Hour Glass, Cortina and Dickson, indeed Sub sold out.

Was at orchard yesterday. Ion still have subs. Taka still have lots of entry level watches too. There is definitely more interest and the speculation of those sitting on the fence will buy, I personally feel is quite true.

Over at europe yes. Local not yet. Understand that rolexes in singapore are priced among the highest in the world. I stand corrected on this.

Saying so, that could also be the reason that we will take a while more to warm up.

try Kee Hing Hung at Chinatown...they might have stock.. or Hour Glass Raffle Place.. if all Richmont Group watches already hike 5%.. Rolex will increase maybe Apr.. they wont miss out this type of chances..

Regardless of the "Swiss francs" issue, Rolex price every year also increase so it nothing new. No need to rush and do panic purchases.

Within these couple of days difference there must be a huge demand for them then. I just checked Suntec dickson AD at the atrium it's almost empty. Sports model for SS all out of stock. Very limited stock for the rest of the rolex there.

The AD at raffles city shopping centre still carry numerous stock though. If you're keen, go check it out now. But my advice is to drop them a call beforehand.

If you look at the list prices posted on June 12, the list prices still the same till now. Meaning Rolex have not been increase the price for at least 2 yrs...
