Which holds its value better/more

I am wanting to buy one of these two watches :
1. Rolex Gents Yacht-Master 16623 White 18K Gold bezel(D series watch only) price 1K more than:
2. Cartier Calibre de Cartier W7100011 (2013 with box and all papers)

Would like to hear your views, good or bad, its all appreciated

All things being equal, the Rolex should hold value better. Just my opinion, I'm not an expert.
