Poll: GMT 2 LN or GMT 2 half gold

Hi guys!

Im in a dilemma. Im shopping for a Rolex and i hav shortlisted GMT 2.

However there are 3 variants in e market, black, batman and half gold. I hav tried all 3 and prefer the black n half gold model.

Black is easy to match but its kinda common. Whereas the half gold looks stunning but seems like hard to match when u dress casually.

Which model will u go for and y?

Yes, for half-gold GMTIIC.

To me, since the regular black (dial) stainless steel (SS) model comes with polished centre links, having it on gold looks more pleasing and worthy.

You said it yourself that black is easy to match but common. So having something common but with a slight tinge of gold will make it more balanced. Secondly, I feel that the gold on the GMT2C doesn't seem too "loud" or eye-catching, since the stainless steel (SS) model already comes with polished centre links (PCL). I have, on few occasions, mistaken the half gold model to be the SS model, when viewing from a distance. So the half gold model will still be easy to wear even when you are in casual attire.

It's just my personal taste.

Next week baselworld we will likely have 2 new gmtc ii.

1. Steel gmtc ii but with red get hand instead of green.
2. Steel gmtc ii with purple and blue ceramic Basel.

👏👏👏👏 dun worry abt half gold is too flashy.. i wear my GMTC TT whether Im at shirt and pants or shorts and singlet its always on my wrist. but there is a downside.. once halfgold u will never like SS.. hhahaha.. now im aiming my full gold. 😜

I owned the GMT half gold. So it's the half gold for me. Get the half gold, TS, you won't regret it.

Yup

The TT rocks. Have that too. A Rolex is meant to be bling so TT is the way to go unless budget can take full gold.

If prefer understated, get the sea dweller , no cyclops no fluted bezel
