  • Is Rolex bracelets (models from 94-98) magnetic?

    Hi,

Just bought a preowned TT Datejust from a reputable local dealer recently and realised by accident that the TT bracelet is attracted to magnet. While my other SS Rolex is not. From what I researched, 18K gold and stainless steel should not have any magnetism.

Any experts here can give some advise before I head down to RSC for verification?

    Many Thanks

actually, the watch was purchased for my family member, not wore by anyone yet. Not sure how previous owner or dealer have handled it.

in theory, its not possible to magnetize ur watch bracelet just by using or placing near tv handphone, electronic devices.

even if suay suay and really possible to tio, the magentic force will not hold once brought away from the said region. u sure its your watch and not you? i see form TV got some people can use their body to hold iron lah, etc
I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch.........

buying for brother? You never know who wore the watch and what he did with it in the past.

hehe i also ask that so nid to use other hand to take phone calls....what he meant was those pple who like to place watches on their tv or hi-fi once they are home, over period of time this may have an effect on the watch...for handphone when some pple reach home they may just place hp,watch & keys together ma and this may be daily overnight thingy
