  • 16710 GMT II Transitional Dial, Any Comments?

    Hi Gurus,

Not too sure if this is a question but i would like to share this with the forum (not too sure if this has been covered before) but here goes.

After viewing numerous pictures from the net and sales post of GMT II, i noticed that my 16710 has the -swiss t<25-, even though the markers were in luminova.

I have owned my GMT II since 1998. After a bit of further research from the internet I have noticed that this is roughly the transitional period (16760 to 16710) when the dial markers were changed from tritium to luminova plus, -swiss t<25 - dial was changed to -swiss made -

I found some pictures of a t dial accompanying the GMT II but that was the 16760, mine is the 16710. Does anyone here own a 1998 gmt II, believe this "anomaly" could be found in specimens with R serial numbers right up to low U serials...

Any feedbacks or comments are most welcomed...
