Recently, I was looking for a Rolex watch to present to my wife as our 10th anniversary gift. I am looking at preowned piece.

I gather a lot of tip and info from this site. However, my wife which I believe to prefer more sporty look and yacht Master Lady will be prefect.

I was being offered at S$6K with a K series, yacht Master Lady model 169622 (with no box and cert) from a preowned shop.

Is this a good deal ?

What are the things that i need to look out for to confirm its authenticity?

Seriously, if you are paying 6K, you should try to look for one with box and papers. There are many pre-owned shops in Singapore and I'm sure you'll find one that fits your budget.

Saw 1 at CashBox chinatown today, didnt ask for price thou. Dun worry brother, take your time. Have u been scouting at Chinatown ? People's park complex, at least 5-6 preowned shop. Opposite people's park complex, forget wat name liao, also got at least 2-3. Slowly go bio bio lor

I believe that Yacht Master Lady model will be more appropriate choice for my wife as it is more sporty with a bigger face.

So far, I had been looking around and so far this is the lowest I can find for a Yacht Master Lady.

Can anyone advise on what will the reasonable price to benchmark a preowned Yacht Master Lady (with no box and cert)?

Seen a few (to date) going for $5.8k with no papers .... at $6k, u shd expect to come at least with papers.

Just second thought, if buy new datejust model 179174 (white face, no diamond, Roman no) from AD in Singapore, what is the price (after discount plus GST) ?

Also anyone has any idea, which shop is more friendly and willing to give good discount? Just don't want to get get carrot chop.

First buy so got to be double sure.

Personally, the mid size(35mm) Yachtmaster would look better than a lady size (29MM?) on a lady's wrist. The fashion is on bigger watches.

Agreed ... my wife have the same sentiments. Too bad I can't afford one for her on our 10th wedding anniversary, and she doesn't like pre-own
