hi & welcome to the forum.Originally posted by carson9429 View Postcan any tell me wats the diff between sub LV M, Z, F siress? theres so much model out there... i really get blur... new to rolex...
The Sub LV ref 16610LV ( Lunette Verde) aka "Green Sub" is typically the same as the SubDate ref 16610 except that its bezel insert is green and it has the maxi dial. The maxi dial implies larger sized hands and hour markers. As for series, it should progress as F (year 2003), D (year 2005), Z (year 2006), & M (year 2007 till present). Not much difference between these series except that the later M series comes with the engraved rehaut aka chapter ring (the serial number and the words "RolexRolexRolex" just beneath the sapphire glass). hopes this helps

Cheap is how cheap?Originally posted by carson9429 View Postis it advice to buy from yahoo aution? look pretty cheap...
For a Sub LV, I think minimum cost at least 7.5K and above. Must be very careful if those really rock bottom cheap, best you can meet the seller and deal at RSC before payment.
Happy seaching of your Sub LV.
Cheerio,

there is a saying amongst the more experienced on-line buyers, that is "Buy the buyer".. so if you are gonna save a few hundred bucks and buy from someone, especially from overseas, who has zero sales references then I think the risks outweigh the benefits. But if it is a local seller is willing to meet up and deal only after authentication of the watch at RSC is carry out, then I think its ok to go the Yahoo auction way.. juz my 2centsOriginally posted by carson9429 View Postis it advice to buy from yahoo aution? look pretty cheap...

Try not to buy from auction sites...
if buying from local seller n can verify at rsc then it's ok. otherwise buying rollies from auction sites = playing with fire. one thing's for sure: there's NEVER a cheap rolex.Originally posted by carson9429 View Postis it advice to buy from yahoo aution? look pretty cheap...Remnants of my irresponsibility:

meet up at a reputable authentication centre is the best, sellers can be from yahoo or ebay or even here.
otherwise, go to reputable resellers.
