Have more polished surfaces on new Sub?

I dunno. The basic Sub SS model has always been a functional divers' watch like the Sea Dweller. Its surfaces have always had a minimalist signature and mostly has brushed surfaces. Even the sides of the bracelet links are brushed unlike the other sports models. Only the Sub watch case sides and bevelled edges are polished. Exceptions to this limitation are the Sub two tone and full gold versions with polished midlinks. If the new models have extensively more polished surfaces then won't it look just look like the Milgauss?

I suspect the mid-link will be polished, instead of brushed. Just like the GMT IIc.

(Don't you think this is what a 116610LN should look like?)

Saw a half-gold blue ceramic sub with date at one of the AD.
It comes with brushed midlinks, just like the 116660 DSSD.
Was quoted $12k + after discount.
