  • Length of Rolex Bracelet

    Yo Bros,

Do you guys like to wear your watch loose or tight? I find mine a bit loose. Any idea where can I get it tightened by someone qualified?

I like mine alittle bit loose..but not too loose.. as long as got extra space can already.

I use my screwdriver and DIY..play around..hahaha. You must get the special small screwdriver for specs 1.

Buy a set of watch tools off ebay. It's cheap... it comes with a strap adjuster with a pin end that fits nicely. I paid all of S$20 incl. postage from HK.

Both times I was at RSC they told me I could adjust the spacing myself... so long as I don't add/remove links, its quite straight forward.

a good screwdriver is all that is needed for removing bracelet links......

to adjust the bracelet length slightly.......u can choose from the different holes on the clasp.....use a wooden toothpick to depress the springbar...

unless u wanna remove the bracelet from the case, u dun need a spring bar tool.....(which is shaped like a fork)....

For DIY extend of links, wat type of screwdriver ? Any particular size?

I see the AD uses some screw-lock liquid when remove/extend the links. Where can we buy this?

that liquid is called "Loctite" commonly use in the aviation industry, function is to secure the bolt/screw from working itself loose. Since last year Rolex has made it mandatory to every AD to apply this liquid into the screw hole before tightening the screw.
Believe you can get from hardware shop.
