I haven't checked the 16610 but I looked at the 16600... that was about $6100ish list-price, I *think*.

i was at rolex centre today. They said the street price of the new s/s GMT-II is $9200. Places are selling it at premium e.g. I heard of two pieces being sold by HG for S$11k each.

There is one being sold at hobby-link in FE Plaza for $10.5k.

The 16610 list price was $7444 b4 the increase. So it's about there. Hmm..u sure the 16600 is $6000++ last time I check it was abit more expensive than the Sub Date

discount is v limited for this model. this is retail price.

ya, very limited discount for this model. anyway the price increase is not that much afterall, since there is also the GST increase. If the price of rolex doesnt increase, there will not be a demand in the second hand market and rolex will not be that valuable afterall.

The GMT master list rpice is $9480. However all the AD are selling at premium btn $10.5 to $11k. The batch 2 is also sold out!! (I know cos I just got the last piece!!)

I think the price is a steal as compared to the approx. price which I heard from my AD. Too bad it is out of stock and the new stock will come in 2 weeks time..... if not i will buy it straight away.....
