  • Advise needed: 380 B Endlinks for my Red Sub 1680

    Hi,

My old 380 end links (flush link) is dented and I got it replaced at Rolex Service Ctr.
But instead of putting in a 380 or 280, they put on a 380 B.
Is this OK for my 1972 Mk V 1680 Red Sub?
    Pls advice...Thanks a bunch.
    Cheers.

    Rgds,
    Fred Tan

man, i see you've posted this query on so many forums...

you got a good reply on VRF, plus if RSC put it on, it should be fine.

I just found out that my piece has an earlier version of tripolock tube with no gasket and smooth no thread are near e crown on e tube by posting this query in dIfferent forum.

I also found out thru e same multi forum post, that some 1680 were released with striped White box.

Also found out just today thanks to this multiple post if different forum that Seahorse boxes came in 2 sizes; big & small. Both were released at e same time as e White stripe box.

I just learned 15min ago, thru e same post that e tripolock green hang tag for tripolock crown with no gasket are different.

So, apart from finding out what is 380B vs 380, I learned ao many other details on Red Sub by multiple post n dfferent forums.

      Thanks.

actually, if you've bothered searching through those forums like most collectors do, those information can be found without being supplied to you by others.

        they've all been discussed before.

          Found no answer there.
And I don't think it's wrong to ask a question that has been answered in this forum before.
          Pardon my ignorance.
