    I like to ask for comments regarding this.

    Will you request for not polishing your watch when you send for servicing?

    For my next service job onwards i think will request for that.

    This is especially for pieces that you think have long term value and will retain with you for a while.

    Yes it does looks "refreshed" after polishing but it construes to vanishing edges and lugs.

    Many polish jobs looks too heavy handed on the brushed areas.

    I think I rather do a DIY Handjob with capecod, rubber compound and just lighten a little if it gets too unbearable. otherwise will leave as it is.

    Any comments?

    Bro, you can give it a try and tell us after that. As my past experience of polishing one side of my lug after one of the technician scratched my watch. Now the lug of both sides look unbalance..

      I ask them be4, they say can dun polish. But no discount will be given for the less job. For me, i will prefer not polish the watch.
