  • What Watch and Why?

Seems that all watches have a retail and actual buy prices.
Then there is the 2nd hand/pre owned market prices followed by collectible/bnib prices.

What watch (amongst those i listed) is something than can hold its resale price stead in the pre-owned market?
And have the least amount of depreciation even if end up with no box/papers
(btw imho i think wearing the timepiece is crucial to truly enjoying its build/mechanics and splendour)

    Rate them in order
    1) Rolex
    2) Omega
    3) Breitling
    4) ????
    5)

**List a maximum of 5 to avoid confusion please
And watches that retail under S$20K
    SRC is bad dealer !

Panerai is top now for resale value. Market is too hot.

The pcs are swept off the net as fast as sellers can put up.

I can only think of 3 and I second the 3 brands that Psee cited.. But among the 3, I would say Rolex comes out top. Cos Rolex has the strongest brand name that had sustained a market for its watches over decades. if the trends over the years are any indication, certain models especially those in its sports line-up are most likely to appreciate in its value overtime (by overtime, I mean perhaps over many years ).
