I heard from an AD that when the GV Milgaus first came out, it went up to $25K. But now, it's pactically found in most AD.

Therefore, I would suggest getting the DSSD since its price had stablised and the rrp is higher than the new sub. Anyway, it was a disappointment to me that Rolex decides not to make the new sub 44mm cos I like big watch and DSSD suits me well.

    My opinion..

    Hi EA13,

I had just gotten my DSSD ( pressie fr wife ) after much comparison.

I was like u too, caught btw the dssd or wait for the SubC then..

As others had mention, DSSD is really thick & chuncky but it grows on you..

All the features of the SubC are taken from DSSD.. eg. C bezel, maxi dial, maxi case, adjustable braclet etc etc...

ultimately its your preference of colour ( Green or black ) , thickness & size & most importantly ur budget !!

    My 5 cents worth..

    Cheers !

You must like the green in order to consider between it and the DSSD.

My take, get the DSSD first while the SubC LV rocket itself in pricing and when its price stabilizes, trade your DSSD for the SubC LV. Trade value will not differ much by then. Again, depending if you are getting a BNIB or preloved SubC LV.

With limited finances, you get the best of both worlds assuming SubC LV is your ultimate aim.

I like the DSSD super solid look and case, but the weight and tiny bracelet put me off, the Sub is a more balance on case size vs bracelet, IMO.
