I think they did open up my Rolex to verify its authenticity. After telling me my Rolex is authentic, the aunty over the counter further told me that the technician adjusted the watch's accuracy during my verification which I spent S$107 on. It happened about 6 months ago.

Haha. Got the info over coffe talk last Friday.

Dun think he is an active forumer here to attend any gathering though.

Hmmm... So RSC still open up to authenticate?

Feels safer if they really do that.

Strangely and coincidentally, someone asked this same question during the gtg last Sat. Maybe you two are friends?

If the RSC technicians can already tell from the outside that the watch is fake, maybe there is no need for them to open up the case. Still, I think they will open up to check and then tell you exactly what parts are fake.

I don't have the proof but I dare say if a RSC technician concludes that a watch is authentic without opening up the case to check the movement, he is not following the SOP.

I would think they still need to open up the case back to check on the serials numbers of the movement to their DBase...
It would sound strange if they dun open it up....

They are pretty good. Supply magnifying glass for older folks. Also tell me where to check and verify the numbers on the watch versus the warranty card number.
    Many Tks

the most important thing is that the serial number on the watch matches that on the warranty card/paper.

makes no difference if the address on the warranty card/paper is not the same as the place you purchase your watch.

Recently bought my first Rolex a DJ from Dickson Wisma Atria.

Went home and then check AD in Rolex website; but did not see Wisma Atria listed as their AD. Earlier on I remembered reading Dickson is AD.

So now the question is is the outlet in Wisma Atria an AD.

Check the warranty card - address is at Paragon! more confused now.

Are the watches bought there genuine - need to send for authenticity check?

Hope to have some advice form the seniors here.

    Rgds

Confirm the watch is from AD. The warranty card will put in the HQ address, not outlet address. Lastly, the rolex website will only list down two outlet from each company, as u can see THG has more branches then is listed on the website...
