There is the 39mm explorer I, launched this year...not sure if it reached our shores yet though.....from the pictures, seems almost identical to the 36mm one but I personally like my watches closer to the 40-42mm range...
ask in a rolex forum, pretty obvious what answer you are going to get.
decide for yourself which one looks better.
heres my AT, sorry for crappy phone pic.
Got the ExpI..! Given the slight price difference between the 36mm ExpI and the 39mm AT, I guess the ExpI is more worth it.. I got a small wrist anyway.. =P

Looking for my first rolex or omega.. really like the clean look of the Explorer I or the Omega Aqua Terra. I can't decide on it..!
Can the seniors here please give some advice? Thanks lots!
I have one AT, silverish-white dial blue hands.
I had three E1s (diff vintages, now left one).
My vote goes to Explorer I I wear mine everywhere, for almost everything. I brushed mine so there're no glossy surfaces, and it looks the part of a toolwatch, and it is a good size (36mm). It feels very contrarian to wear a 36mm nowadays, and that works for me. Submariner was launched a year after Ian Fleming's first Bond novel was published. So he (Bond) couldn't have worn a Sub. Methinks he wore an Explorer I
Here's my reliable companion sunbathing in the garden:
Hi bro, may i know how do you brush off the glossy surface? Any place to recommend?
