All you can tell by any of the Internet codes is a approximation year when a case was stamped. And not necessarily when a fully completed watch was shipped for sale to a AD.Now with watches that use say the Cal 3135 that movement could be older or newer made or visa versa in any particular case.
Fact today on average today Rolex tests around 700,000 movements at the Swiss COSC yearly and around 500,000 will be the cal 3135.So Rolex must have quite a large stock of these movements waiting to be cased, with hundreds at COSC waiting to be tested. And the test take 15 days,so some could be months, weeks, or even years old.Rolex watches are not made to the exact day, week, or even a exact year its all just a approximation.
