this site claims to provide the only Rolex serial number lookup including the AN series. i'm not sure how that can be done since only Rolex has the proprietary information. i checked my AN serial number, it says 2011 as the year of manufacture. there's no way to know if it is true (or not).

Anyone can say the watch is from X years but there no proof to back up. With AN series think nobody will know the truth other then Rolex themselves or people have access into Rolex database.
In the future the warranty card or AD receipt with model, series number, date of purchase will be important if you going to sell your old Rolex. They are the only thing to proof when the watch was bought.Comment
