    The new rolex uses luminova type of compound like most other brands.

    It's said that in theory it will last almost indefinitely. However looking at the maxi dials under a loupe, I noticed today that the surface are not smooth and there are dark parts in the middle of the markers.

    It's actually not easily noticeable. I just happen to chance upon it.
    Dont have a bnib to compare so dunno is it "worn".

    Did a search on luminova but yield no result on it's corrosion. I wonder.
